Last year, South Beach attracted the most star power on New Year's Eve. Still, Paris Hilton proved that Las Vegas can really throw a party, and Mariah Carey watched the ball drop in N.Y.C. Here's a rundown of the most buzzed-about parties to welcome 2007:

NEW YORK MTV will host MTV Goes Gold from its Times Square headquarters in Manhattan, with performances by Gwen Stefani, Nas and Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia. Audience members will be required to dress the theme in their best gold attire.

LAS VEGAS Britney Spears is slated to host a party at Pure in Caesars Palace, while Pamela Anderson celebrates at Tao in the Venetian.

LOS ANGELES Carmen Electra will handle the Hollywood festivities with a party featuring the Killers on the New York Street set at Paramount Studios.
