“We can finally make noise in the library,” Scarlett Johansson joked. Indeed, the dance floor was filled with A-listers in fabulous gowns provided by designer pals (as Amanda Bynes said of her borrowed Max Azria gown: “After I dance in it all night, who else will want it?”). And Alicia Keys sang a passionate duet with John Legend. The party space was decorated with Swarovski crystal-encrusted napkin rings, vases and votives designed by Tord Boontje, and the menu was just as pretty: chilled soup, halibut and jewel-like sorbet molded into the shape of flowers. “The night is open,” said Shalom Harlow. “We’ll see what naughtiness we can get into.”
