“I was fighting the creeping feeling that the world was a tuxedo and I was a pair of brown shoes,” joked Edward Norton, one of the very few men at an event honoring the industry’s brightest female stars. The Premiere magazine-sponsored event, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, was host to famous femmes including Gwyneth Paltrow, Annette Bening, Cate Blanchett, Amber Tamblyn, Jeri Ryan, Dame Judi Dench, Rachel Griffiths, Sally Field, Christina Applegate, Marley Shelton, Anjelica Huston, Sofia Coppola, Evan Rachel Wood and Samaire Armstrong. Oh, and a few guys too, including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Warren Beatty and Jason Schwartzman.
