Wolfgang Puck catered a meal that included filet mignon and miso-glazed wild salmon and ended in a chocolate-banana mousse served with caramel ice cream. Celebrities sat at tables draped with brown and burnt-orange linen set off with arrangements of orchids and calla lilies. Pink and purple mood lighting was provided by the nearby stage, which was later the scene of a full concert by Chaka Khan. The audience of stars was festively attired—both Drew Barrymore and Eva Mendes wore little black dresses—with the exception of Adam Sandler, who wore a windbreaker. Well, it was an outdoor party!
