An audience of New York celebrities took in a screening of Babel to benefit the Film Foundation, which promotes the preservation of classic American movies. The viewing party, held in the Tribeca Grand Hotel, included popcorn and martinis for the sofa-seated audience. The Moroccan-inspired after-party was held at the Soho Grand. “I’m really proud,” Gael García Bernal said of his role in the challenging film. Other guests included Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, Liev Schreiber, Matt Dillon, Rob Thomas, Drea de Matteo, Jane Fonda, Rachel Roy, Liya Kebede, Famke Janssen, David Byrne, Rinko Kikuchi, Ivanka Trump, Rachel Zoe, Moby, Kyan Douglas, Carson Kressley and Helena Christensen.
