Celebrating the launch of the GPS-equipped Helio Drift mobile device from Samsung, the event was held in a former car dealership on La Brea Ave. in L.A. Servers in white Helio coveralls passed out shrimp balls with coconut sauce, filet mignon on a crostini, mini chicken potpies, and a special Blue Helio cocktail made with Grey Goose vodka, Blue Curacao, Sprite and lime juice. Beck was joined on-stage by brother-in-law Giovanni Ribisi, who—clad in a white suit and cowboy hat—joined the backing band on acoustic guitar. Celebrity fan Kate Walsh worked up a sweat dancing and singing along in the front row. "He's such an artist," she exclaimed. "It's so inspiring, it's like going to church."
