With her oversize glasses, turtleneck and feathered shag, 8th-grader Katie Kreider was ready to study!
When Kate Gosselin debuted her signature short and spiky crop on TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8, the mother of twins and sextuplets became a beauty trendsetter. Achieved at a two-chair salon in her hometown of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, the look both drew criticism and sparked countless imitators. Then, rebranding herself as Clean-Slate Kate following her 2009 divorce, she got long, straight extensions from stylist Ted Gibson. "She had the most iconic haircut since the Rachel and I am glad to have made her over," says Gibson. "Like most women, she loves longer hair." According to Gosselin, there are even more changes to come. "Good enough is never good enough for me," she told People. "There are moments where I say, 'I do look good for having eight kids.' I want to drop the 'for having eight kids' part!"
