Transformation

Katherine Heigl loves changing her hair. "I've been auburn, chocolate brown, and darker blond with big chunky streaks," says the star, who plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy. But when it comes to styling her now-blond coif, the Ugly Truth lead is pretty low-key. "All I ever do is throw it in a bun." She keeps the long mane manageable by combing Kerastase conditioner in it daily "so it doesn't turn into a big dreadlock," she says. And, although she loves to try new products ("I love everything new"), she prefers to play up her natural beauty with low-key looks: "I like simple hair and makeup."
