Jennifer Garner is proud to be a natural woman. As a teen, she had "long, plain straight hair and wore no makeup," but, she has said, "I was always happy to look like a Garner girl." These days, the Butter star pledges her allegiance to Neutrogena products, but the true secret to her glow is a happy home-life with husband Ben Affleck and daughters Violet and Sera. "Beauty comes from a life well lived," she has said. "If you've lived well, your smile lines are in the right places, and your frown lines aren't too bad, what more do you need?"

The Charleston, West Virginia high school student ignored beauty don'ts. "I wasn't allowed to wear makeup, so I would sit in homeroom and put on eye shadow," she has said. "[The compact] had four colors in it, but I used only the blue."
