At a time when stars go in and out of style as fast as miniskirts, Heather Locklear has remained in the spotlight as a perennial beauty icon. "Her radiant look has had decades of stamina," says her N.Y.C. hair colorist Sharon Dorram-Krause. From Locklear’s big-hair days as Dynasty’s Sammy Jo to her feathered style when cast as Officer Stacy Sheridan in T.J. Hooker and back to big as Melrose Place’s Amanda, she has always managed to look like a knockout—and continued in that role (with flaxen layers) for her recent TV series LAX. What’s Locklear’s secret? "Aside from her piercing blue eyes and poreless-looking skin, what’s beautiful is the inner light that comes out when she smiles," says Collier Strong, a L’Oréal makeup artist. Adds Dorram-Krause, "She’s sexy as all hell but balances it with her fresh, clean elegance."
