Ben Affleck is not so into grooming. "I don't think it's dignified for a man to be like, you know, primping himself and pulling out his eyebrow hairs and having facial cleansers," the actor has said. "If the payoff for that is that I'm a little scruffy, that's okay." Of course, that doesn't mean he loved the overgrown hair and beard he sported in Argo. "I hated it!" he told reporters at the Toronto Film Festival. "I had to grow out this Davy Jones/Barry Gibb thing I had on my head." But he's probably glad he skipped wearing a wig in favor of a self-grown shag—Argo is being lauded for its realism and could well earn the multitalented star his second Oscar. So, who needs primping?
