Cat Deeley is happy to learn from her mistakes. "I remember being a teenager and having a terrible perm and one eyebrow," she told us, "but I think that's a really important phase to go throughyou have to be expressive." As playful with her hair and makeup as she is with her famously self-styled wardrobe, Deeley finds inspiration everywhere. "One day it might be Debbie Harry and the next Helen of Troy," says her makeup artist Amy Strozzi. "You just never know." But that's not to say she's a, well, copycat. "The moment you try to emulate anybody else, you're on a slippery slope to nowhere," said Deeley. "You should absolutely develop your own sense of style."
Sporting a straight, face-framing bob (without a wave in sight!), the one-time model hosted a children's show on MTV.
