Ashley Olsen has left Michelle Tanner's bows and barrettes far behind. After a childhood of acting in TV and straight-to-video capers with twin sister Mary-Kate, the fashion designer (of The Row and Elizabeth and James) has matured into a cool blond beauty with enviable self-possession. "We've grown up in the public eye, literally, so you get used to seeing yourself everywhere," Ashley once said. "If you get too critical of yourself, you'd never leave the house." Thankfully for her fans, Olsen makes it out on the town in inspiringly flawless makeup and classic hairstyles—not a ribbon in sight.
