Amy Adams loves a good makeover. "I find excuses to put on more makeup," she has told InStyle. "I love to give everything a test run." The redheaded actress, who has tackled roles as diverse as a nun in Doubt and an amateur chef in Julie & Julia, even looks forward to the ultimate transformation: "I would love to cut my hair and try platinum—Christina Aguilera blond. Harlow blond."

"I used to steal my older sister's pink-and-green Maybelline mascara," Adams has said of her understated high school look in Castle Rock, Colorado.
