Hot Betty, Bombshell Betty, Not-So-Ugly Betty—America Ferrera will forever be compared to her lovely-on-the-inside character. "It's extra fun now to dress up and look pretty because I am in Betty's mask all the time," Ferrera has told InStyle. And look pretty she does, with her Sophia Loren-inspired eyeliner and teased updos. Still, despite her red-carpet acumen, the Family Wedding star has learned plenty from playing plain. "I am all for beauty," she has told us, "And I love feeling pretty, but it's more important for me to look in the mirror and feel good about myself than worry about what other people think." Betty Suarez couldn't put it any better.

The El Camino High School junior had her own team of hairdressers: "My [four] sisters dried my hair for me until I was 14, and then I finally started drying my own."
