Ugly duckling, nothing—Brooke Shields has always been a swan. "When she was born Brooke looked like a beautiful doll," her mother Teri Shields once told People. "I couldn't believe she was mine." She posed for Ivory Snow at 12 months and brought big brows into vogue as a teenaged Calvin Klein model. But it is as an adult that the ever-stunning Shields has embraced a little, well, ugly. "Comedy has been a real release," the Furry Vengeance star has said. "If I look like a fool, who cares?"
