For the Benefit For The Motion Picture & Television Fund, makeup artist Brett Freedman conjured up a matte, candy pink lip color. "Catherine loved the color but thought it would read better on the red carpet with a little more depth and shine," Freedman told InStyle.com. To keep the color crisp, he dabbed a touch of concealer along her lip line. Then, he powdered, lined and filled in her entire mouth with a fleshy shade of pink. Freedman added, "I had her blot her lips and then top it off with a deeper plum berry shimmer gloss for a touch of drama. It was her idea. She was spot on, it turned out beautifully!"
