Amanda Peet doesn't mind cracking wise about her enviable beauty. "Makeup artists always want to take my eyebrows away," she has said of her trademark arches. "They practically come at me with a lawn mower." And of her knockout smile? "People started calling me Mr. Ed." But with a happy marriage to screenwriter David Benioff, a 2-year-old daughter and a successful career (three movies this year!), Peet is clearly not complaining. "She has everything right now," says her hairstylist, Tracey Cunningham, including a look that "blows you away." Though the 37-year-old has experimented with bangs and blond streaks, the actress likes to keep it simple: "Less is more; most women look more beautiful in their natural state." And that's no joke.
1999: The fresh-faced beauty ("on weekends I try to not wear any makeup") scored her first leading role, as Jack on the TV series Jack & Jill.
