DIY: Coral Lips & Gold Shadow

Dubroff suggests applying lip color (Shiseido Perfect Rouge lipstick in Day Lily, $25; macys.com) with a small, stiff brush instead of straight from the tube. “It allows you to be more precise, and with this bold color, there’s no room for mistakes,” she says. Feather a thin layer of coral around the edges of lips, then make short strokes to fill in the center. “I believe in blotting the lips,” Dubroff says. “It helps remove excess oils and gives lips a natural finish.” For eyes, brush gold shadow (Nars single eye shadow in Night Sun, $22; narscosmetics.com) on the center of lids, then into the inner corners. Finish by smudging the same color along lower lash lines for a highlighting effect.
