"She had been wanting to do red hair for several years, like all red," said Chapman of the star's BMI Country Awards color. "That is a major commitment, so I thought, why not do some red pieces in there without making the total commitment? She thought that was a great idea. She's actually pretty edgy, pretty rocking, she likes to push the envelope."
