For the Oscars, Adams and her hairstylist Laini Reeves settled on sculpted waves. "We decide her hair would look like this no matter what dress she wore," Reeves said. Working a few drops of Couture Colour Pequi Oil into damp hair gave Adams's strands that "luxurious, rich feel." Reeves then set the head in 1-1/2 inch rollers, allowed the hair to dry, and brushed through the waves with soft bristle brush.
