Makeup artist Jorjee Douglass used a combination of Hourglass' Vol. 6 Eye Palette ($58) and Beauty Is Life's Perfect Shine Shadow in Everest ($25; barneys.com) on the star. Starting with the palette, Douglass laid down a layer of the light, sparkly hue all over Deschanel’s lids, then used the brown and black colors to define her crease. She swirled the soft pink over the whole lid to blend all of the shades, then topped off her eye with the white shimmer.
