If You're Wearing Silver

Pairing your silver dress with a high-shine eye may seem like overkill, so opt for a smoky eye in muted versions of the metallic tones like Halle Berry. "I created an eye look with blended charcoals and shimmery silvers to complement the colors in the dress," says Berry's makeup artist, Kara Yoshimoto Bua. While the pewter shadows stand out, careful blending ensures that the effect isn't too matchy-matchy. Bua stuck to soft peach tones on the lips and cheeks to balance the dramatic look.
