New parents Joel Madden and Nicole Richie—who is reportedly working on her own debut album—were among family and friends at the bash, spending time with Nicole's dad, Lionel Richie and longtime friend Quincy Jones. Richie and Madden made the most of their rare night on the town, also hitting the opening night gala for L.A's Broad Contemporary Art Museum.
