Since winning American Idol, the pop-country music star already has four American Music Awards, five Billboard Music Awards and two Grammy Awards (including Best New Artist for her 2005 debut album Some Hearts) under her belt. Her latest effort Carnival Ride hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and Country Album charts during its first week and outsold Some Hearts, making her a strong contender to add yet another Grammy to her collection.
