"We wanted to go for something organic, young and modern," hairstylist Mark Townsend said of Lea Michele's beachy updo. After blowing hair dry, Townsend used a 1" curling iron to create piecey ringlets. He then gathered hair and pinned it back into a messy chignon, leaving out layers in the front.
