"I just remember everything went silent," Melissa Leo (in Marc Bouwer) said, remembering the exact moment her name was called as Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Fighter. "Though I'm really proud of the work I did, having heard the names of the other women nominated I really didn't think they were going to call my name. So I was just sitting there and then I thought, 'Oh, this is a television show and I should probably stand up and get moving!'"
