New parents and fellow Nichiren Buddhists Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr also share a passion for the environment. Supermodel Kerr started KORA Organics Skincare and supports sustainable school gardens in her native Australia, while Bloom, a Brit, served as a UNICEF ambassador in Nepal. "The water is not clean, so in these environments an intestinal problem can be a killer for kids," Bloom told InStyle in 2008. "A simple tap, which costs about $20, can provide water to the whole community—for life."
