Bono and Ali Hewson

Humanitarian hero Bono and designer wife Ali Hewson have long been at the forefront of the green movement with their organic and ethical clothing line Edun. The celebrity designers donate profits to promote sustainable communities in impoverished countries. But Bono still feels he could be doing more—especially when Al Gore pays him a visit. "He's been 'round my house and there was a little bit of, 'Here's the recycler, Al!' I’ve got a posh car but, 'It runs on ethanol, Al!'" joked Bono to the London Guardian newspaper.
