THE HAIR "These are '40s-inspired finger-waves," said Sebastian Professional hairstylist Thomas Dunkin. "The Berlin weather—and Rachel's gorgeous dress—inspired the glamorous look." After setting the hair in curlers, he combed through the waves with a natural bristle brush and asked McAdams to shake her head. "It gives the style an easy, sexy feel," he said.
THE MAKEUP "Rachel and I agreed this wine-toned lipstick was more modern than a classic red," said makeup artist Kayleen McAdams. (And yes, they are related. Sisters!) She extended the star's eyebrows with a dark, thick line and added clusters of false lashes at the outer corners. "To balance the strong eyes, I mixed highlighter and bronzer to define the face rather than blush it," she said.
