Kim Raver

WHERE In the summer and on holidays, you'll find the Grey's Anatomy actress and her family at a Hamptons, N.Y. farmhouse (left). And for 10 months of the year, Venice, Calif. is home base for Raver (right, here with son Luke).

THE STATS In Los Angeles, where Raver works, she spend most of the year in a recently renovated modernist bungalow, all sharp angles, open surfaces, glass walls, and poured concrete floors, interspersed with pops of bold color. But come summer, Raver and crew head to the east end of New York's Long Island and the comfort of a centuries' old cedar-shingle farmhouse that's decidedly not modern.
