Eva Mendes's Audrey Updo
THE STYLE A breezy updo topped off with a chunky beaded headbandWHERE The Sherlock Holmes premiere in New York City
HOW TO GET IT "Eva Mendes's look was inspired by Audrey Hepburn, but the tendrils gave it a modern finish and a touch of femininity," says Sebastian hairstylist Thomas Dunkin, who created the look. Taking a four-inch section of hair around the crown, he added thickening mousse then set it with large rollers. He took out the curlers, side-parted the hair, and twisted it up with pins. "I put a headband just in front of the tallest part of the style and left random pieces to gently fall outthis look can appear too structured otherwise," says Dunkin. The stylist finished with a blast of texturizing spray.
