WHY WE LOVE IT Hairstylist Mark Townsend had a few tricks for making Natalie Portman look so good. "I spritzed damp hair with a body-enhancing spray, blew it dry, and wrapped three inch sections around a curling iron," he says. "And because it was a rainy night, I used a protective mist to keep her hair from frizzing in the humidity." He then gathered the hair in a ponytail behind the left ear, braided it, and secured with an elastic two inches from the ends. His finishing touch? "I looped the ponytail around the base and secured with a few bobby pins."
