Chanel Mobile Art Party
"We don't need art, but we cannot live without it," declared Karl Lagerfeld at the opening of Chanel's Mobile Art pavilion in New York City's Central Park. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Bosworth and Eve were among the designer's devotees who made their way inside artist Zaha Hadid's extra-terrestrial modular museum to get a first look at installations inspired by Chanel's iconic 2.55 quilted handbag. "It's hard to deny the perfection of the Chanel bag," sighed Parker, who posed next to artist Sylvie Fleury's larger-than-life rendering of the iconic pursewhich contained an oversized Chanel compact. Like many of her fellow guests, the Sex and The City star donned the label just for the occasion.Best Fashion Fetes
