"It was interesting to watch the tensions and the alliances develop among the contestants, but they all bonded because of their talent," said Rubenstein. "These are all people who've made money being makeup artists. I expected a certain level of professionalism. I was curious to see who was willing to take a risk and stand by their work and how they presented themselves."
