Idol Gives Back

U2 frontman Bono has campaigned around the world for The Global Fund (another charity benefiting from Idol Gives Back) through his own charities—ONE and (RED), an organization supported by products available from companies such as Gap, Apple, and Converse. The Irish rock star has worked to raise awareness of AIDS and Third World debt for many years and was an organizer of 2005's Live 8—a series of concerts around the world on the same day.
