To get glossy lips that endure a cocktail party, apply a lip stain and let it set for a minute, then top with clear gloss. "Then you can reapply it after eating and drinking sans mirror," says makeup artist and founder of Kimiko Beauty, Danielle Vincent. To enhance small lips, Vincent says to line them just outside the natural line with a neutral pencil.
