Adding an extra layer of glimmer is what holiday makeup is all about. Take cue from Hewitt (who did her own makeup!) and add a rosy gold shadow to the top and bottom lashlines. Apply with a slanted brush, dipped in shadow and dabbed on, rolling the wrist as you push the shadow onto the line. "If you have red or discolored areas around your eyes, avoid copper-toned golds," says makeup artist Andy Paige.
