"Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare genetic disease in which a person's skin is missing the cell membrane between the dermis and epidermis that binds the skin together," explains Cox, who was made aware of the disease when a friend's child was born with it. "I feel so blessed and fortunate to have a healthy child. That's one of the main reasons I've gotten involved."
