Taking in the designs of First Lady-favorite, Jason Wu, were Amanda Peet and Kerry Washington. "I love Jason, we have been friends for years," said Washington, admitting she had tried to sneak a pre-show peek of the collection. As it happened, her runway favorite, a silver foil design, embodied Wu's artistic inspiration. As he said, "I wanted to do dresses in a sculptural way using unexpected materials."
