Mayim Bialik

Asked about her choice of gown, Mayim Bialik explained that her sparkling Judith Leiber minaudiere inspired her selection of Pamella Roland's draped scarlet design. "I'm a modest dresser, so we didn't want something that looked loud," she told InStyle.com. "I love classic Hollywood and a deeper color made [the design] pop without having to do anything flashy." She also wore a custom palladium mezuzah pendant necklace by North American Jewelers that she co-designed with her stylist Alison Kahn: "I usually wear a Jewish star, but my stylist said 'No Jewish star on the red carpet this time.' We compromised with a mezuzah."
