Call it Jennifer Connelly, take two. The actress first gained notice in the 1991 film The Rocketeer, but it was a full 10 years later that she resurfaced in her Oscar-winning role as Alicia Nash in A Beautiful Mind. And while "she has always been beautiful," says makeup artist Pati Dubroff, "she has become more refined. It's what happens when a woman turns 30. The cheekbones find their place." Her next role is as a mourning mother in Reservation Road, but her offscreen look reflects a lighthearted attitude. "She's not afraid to try things. She'll try purple eye shadow," says Dubroff. "She likes to play."
