He’s your typical guy’s guy. Long on charm and short on hair, Bruce Willis is an everyman. He can be your older brother, your obnoxious best friend, your wisecracking next-door neighbor—or a multimillion-dollar movie star (which he just happens to be). Lacking heartthrob leading-man good looks, Willis over the years has managed to stay on top of his game with his irresistible sense of humor—and style. At 50 he is equally at ease in a tux or jeans and boots, and he rarely misses a fashion step. The one accessory he sports is his hair—or lack thereof. Gone is the shock of brown from his P.I. David Addison days, or even his early Diehard days. And aside from a short stretch as a sandy blond, the bald head appears to be here to stay. Occasionally accented by a clipped salt-and-pepper goatee or full-on facial fuzz, as well as the ever-present baseball cap, that head is one we’ve come to know and love. And with two new movies out now, Hostage and the all-star ensemble film Sin City, as well as four on tap for next year, including Die Hard 4.0, we’ll be seeing a lot more of it.
