T-Mobile Sidekick 3 Launch
From Nicole to Paris, Jessica to Eva, nobody missed this party at the Hollywood Palladium
When
Paris Hilton said, “I love my Sidekick!” on Tuesday night, she obviously wasn’t talking about
Nicole Richie (although the ex-B.F.F.s reportedly arrived at the pink carpet at the same time). She was referring to her new T-Mobile gadget, which made its debut at a party that would have done any debutante proud. Or, rather, any grade schoolerthe bash had a distinctly playful feel. The Hollywood Palladium was transformed into a fantasy playground for the event, with topiaries and real grass and trees. Guests played carnival games (prizes were street fair-issue stuffed animals) and mugged inside a photo booth (both Paris Hilton and
Mischa Barton posed with friends). There were two circular seating areas;
Jessica Simpson and
Eva Longoria held court at one of them, while Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton commandeered the other. And let’s not forget the device that brought everyone together: the Sidekick 3. Stars mesmerized by the gadget were left wanting: unlike at an A-list kid’s birthday party, there were no electronics-stuffed goody bags.
