STAR STYLE Long before Sienna Miller was the name synonymous with boho-chic style, Kate Moss was mixing favorite designers like Balenciaga and Anna Sui with thrift-store finds and H&M bargains. As a result, the 31-year-old model was honored for her trendsetting impact on June 6, at the Council for Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards at the New York Public Library.
THE FASHIONISTAS Moss and designing aficionados Diane von Furstenberg, Vera Wang and Marc Jacobs were toasted by designers Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors, Zac Posen and stars Claire Danes, Emmy Rossum, Eva Mendes and Mandy Moore, among others.
COVER GIRL After a meet-and-greet cocktail reception, guests dined on cuisine with a Parisian theme from famed New York eatery Balthazar and danced (P. Diddy repeated his jamming performance from last year) to the rhythms produced by DJ Tony, Ellen DeGeneres's talk-show sidekick.
