THE STARS AND THE PARTIES The Globes festivities kicked off on Friday, with W magazine hosting its first Golden bash, with Uma Thurman and Kim Cattrall in attendance, among others, at the Pacific Design Center. Universal Pictures/Focus Features’s guests included the Lost in Translation crowd, while HBO’s bash was attended by Mary-Louise Parker and Sarah Jessica Parker. But the In Style/Warner Bros. Studios party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was the place to be seen. Charlize Theron, Tim Robbins, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Simpson were just a few of the revelers who were treated to a royal performance by Prince, who held court at the hotel’s Palm Court.
