PARTY CENTRAL Hollywood did what Hollywood does best as it hosted the 56th Emmy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium. After the show, stars headed to various bashes around town. Here's the lowdown on who partied where.
TRAIN GANG Showtime held its post-show party at Mortons, where Barbra Streisand upped the evening's star wattage. HBO, a big winner with Angels in America and The Sopranos, held its bash at the Pacific Design Center, where Emmy winner Sarah Jessica Parker held court. Marlo Thomas, Billy Crystal and Diane Sawyer were just some of the revelers. TV Guide pitched a tent in a parking lot near the Shrine and entertained its guests with a performance by the rock group Velvet Revolver. People magazine and Entertainment Tonight co-hosted a party at the Mondrian Hotel, where Frasier's outstanding guest actress winner Laura Linney landed, and the Fox network chose the famed Spago as its venue, which saw the likes of a blond and buff Sharon Stone.
