FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC L.A.'s Staples Center rolled out the green carpet for the 47th annual Grammy Awards, on Feb. 13, where music's eclectic crowd showcased their talents and their penchant for showstopping fashion and bling.
THE HEARTBREAKERS When it comes to fashion, this year's presentation was much more subdued than those past. Presenter Christina Millian was a favorite in her short, white Versace version, and Ashanti looked stunning in her knee-length, bronze Gucci confection. Eve was a little more revealing in a red Roberto Cavalli minidress, while Sheryl Crow did the midriff peekaboo in a canary-yellow halter. Other standouts on the carpet were Lisa Marie Presley, Cyndi Lauper, John Mayer and Joss Stone.
EVERYBODY LOVES RAY After the live broadcast, Stevie Wonder paid one final tribute to Ray Charles with an impromptu performance at Spago in Beverly Hills. After-parties included Usher's fête, the EMI soirée and the twenties-themed Sony BMG party.
