Hail the mighty scrunchie! Though the glorious hair accessory was publically bashed by Carrie Bradshaw, many celebrities are holding tight to the trend that once reigned supreme in the '80s and '90s.
We don't blame them. Aside from giving off mad Kelly Kapowski vibes, fabric-coated scrunchies also run a much lower risk of denting up your layers, not to mention, far less headaches triggered by a too-tight updo. They get a bad rap, and maybe it's one they don't completely deserve. Here, we put together a list of 8 stars who refuse to let the trend fade into obscurity.

1. Bella Hadid
The model was spotted post-workout rocking a white scrunchie.
2. Selena Gomez
The star's Rapunzel-esque length was tied off using a black scrunchie.
3. Catherine Zeta-Jones
Only Catherine Zeta-Jones could make pairing her Birkin and fur coat with a scrunchie look good.
4. Jennifer Lopez
Sure, the thick black band may be a minimalist take on the scrunchie, but it's a scrunchie nonetheless. Also, major respect to that '80s-era high pony.
Back in 2009, Madonna anchored her top knot into place with a massive teal scrunchie to the Met Gala, which appeared to be adorned with bunny ears.
6. Diane Kruger
The star tied her strands back in a white scrunchie while running errands in New York City.
7. Karlie Kloss
Kloss's black band makes her high, sleek ponytail look surprisingly even more polished.
8. Demi Lovato
Technically, Lovato's ponytail was tied off with a super-long leather ribbon, but it does have that certain scrunchie-like appearance.
