Welcome to "Who Won Fashion Today," where we award the boldest, best dressed person of the day. Winning fashion doesn't necessarily mean you're wearing the most expensive, trendiest, or prettiest dress. Rather, we reward risk-takers—those that stay true to their personal style and make us go, "Now THAT is a LEWK.”

There’s a hard and fast rule here at InStyle.com. Who Won Fashion Today’s winner cannot be from some major festival or event. Having a reason to be at your chicest gives you an unfair advantage. Is it the Oscars? Sorry, you’re eliminated! So it goes without saying, photos from this week’s Cannes Film Festival were albeit ignored when scouring the Internet for today’s winner. But the truth is, rules are made to be broken. And when you are Susan Sarandon and arrive on a red carpet in a forest green custom-made dress from Alberta Ferretti, YOU WIN.

Sarandon arrived in the most flattering dress we’ve ever seen (boobs high as the sky, in the most Old Hollywood way possible). The deep green color was an A+ match with her fiery red hair. Good choice, Madame. She opted for a black suede shoe by fashion editor fave Stella Luna.

As if she needed anything else to be FLAWLESS, she wore an insane pair of magnificent sapphire drop earrings, courtesy of Chopard. Please hold while we splash some cold water on our faces.

She topped off the entire thing with a badass pair of Gentle Monster sunglasses, which just proves that she’s as hip as she is glamorous. If I could look half this good at 70, I’ll be a pretty content lady.

So if you’re thinking, “Wait! InStyle.com wrote about Sarandon’s killer look yesterday,” I say: Damn straight. And we’ll probably write about it again tomorrow.
